2. Favorite character

Oh Maker, how do I even begin? At first I guess a fun fact is in order about a character from Origins. My little brother was actually the one who acquaintanced me with Dragon Age series and I had seen him playing the games sometimes. One time I saw a glimpse of him talking with Zevran in Origins and I really thought that I couldn’t have ever seen a more obvious, transparent… slimy character in my life. The way he talked with such a tacky accent wasn’t helping, either. A character like him could never sweep me off my feet.

After some time I myself started playing the game and. And. I was sold from head to toes. It was utterly ridiculous, I tell you! How suddenly Zevran was the most handsome, hot and interesting character I could ever imagine. The way he talks about his past and himself, the laid back attitude, the romantic, Italianish accent and bold but all the way genuine pick up lines… He is the uncrowned king of flirt. And for me. It. Worked. Every. Single. Time. He… He’s just… GAH!! ♥

Dragon Age 2, then. An elf, a very broody one. White hair. Black eyebrows. Voiced by Gideon Emery. I didn’t need to know more. Fenris was my favorite character way before I even started playing the game. I love his past, the way he thinks (even though it is hard to please him ‘cause of it sometimes), and I’ve always had a huge thing for serious, even angry guys. He is very temperamental by nature and seems indifferent to outsiders about his interests, but on the inside he is more than passionate. He is sarcastic and thus his jokes are pure gold. And I squeal like little girl when Fenris answers to sudden, unexpected flirt = guffaws nervously but joyfully, coughs a couple of times and quiets. He’s flirt is modest and the dark, hoarse voice of his makes it hard for me to sit still.

As I was playing Dragon Age 2, Fenris being my love interest of course, it was insanely difficult for me not to flirt with Zevran when encountered! It was just horrible. In Origins I had a relationship with Zevran and now Fenris was brooding behind my back when I talked with that flirty little thing. The pressure! (Btw, I was so disappointed to see that in DA2 Zevran’s face wasn’t as slim and handsome as in Origins. He had become chubby and sloppy. :C)

Can’t pick between those two!
